Now that the holidays are over and the new year is upon us I am so excited to get back in the swing of things and back to focusing, on not only my preparations for the upcoming Miss USA pageant, but also my work throughout the state of Massachusetts. Living in the heart of Boston, I am so fortunate to live in such a vibrant, active city with so many opportunities to get involved and give back to my amazing state. In a few weeks, Brooke and I will be doing just that as we put the makeup and high heels aside and strap on our work boots as Habitat For Humanity hits the road in Massachusetts.
On February 6th, Brooke and I will be spending the day with a wonderful team of volunteers as we work to build a home for a beautiful mother and her children. Following this wonderful day Brooke and I will also be participating in "Women Build Week" May 1-9th.
